ICNET has signed a collaboration agreement with the National Institute of Information Technologies, INTECO, which was created by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism & Commerce to promote a platform for the Development of the Knowledge-based Society through the development of Innovative Technology projects.

INTECO’s mission is to initiate and develop projects related to the Information & Communication Technology Sector and, in general terms, the Information Society, to improve Spain´s position in this area, making it more competitive and extending its capabilities throughout Europe as well as in Latin America.

Based on this agreement, INTECO will promote ICNET’s solutions in the information security area, especially in the area of database access security; and in return, ICNET will provide INTECO with access to software, and will provide support to various laboratory tests to be performed with the different security solutions of ICNET.
